Vision Statement
| The
Visual Arts department cultivates the whole child by developing
unique forms of expression and communication. This active
learning process encourages divergent problem-solving
abilities, social, cultural and environmental awareness;
self-esteem; motivation; and personal expression. Students
will initiate, define and solve challenging visual art
problems using intellectual skills such as analysis, synthesis,
and evaluation. The hands-on curriculum will allow each
student to grow in his/her personal and artistic experience. |
