Set up your appointment early to be sure you get your physical on time. Physical forms are available in the Activity Office.

To take part in a sport, you MUST turn in a current physical to the Activity Office. You will then be issued a Permit to Practice for the sport in which you plan to participate. You cannot practice or take part in events unitl you have first been issued a Permit to Practice.

Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Mazzuchelli send us physicals of students who will be attending Hempstead. Physicals are good for 13 months so some could carry over from 8th grade.

Try-outs for freshman cheerleaders will take place during the spring BEFORE the next school year. School announcements will give information regarding practice times and dates prior to try-outs.

There will be camps at Hempstead during the summer for Volleyball, Men and Women's Basketball, Swimming, and Football
